Scan a flyer

Snap a poster and the form fills itself in. You check it, I read it, it goes up.

Fill the screen with the poster, in good light. Screenshots work too.

Or fill in the form

Anything happening in the Kootenays can go on the wall, free. I read every one before it goes up. Two things matter most: who it is for and what it costs. I will not guess either.

What it is called on the poster. Not the venue name.

When

Only if it runs over more than one day. A two day open house is one listing, not two.

Only if it happens more than once. Write it the way you would say it: every Saturday until October 31, or third Friday monthly. The date above goes up first, and I set up the rest of the dates by hand.

Where

Start typing: rooms already on the wall will offer themselves. A new one is fine too.

The club, committee, hall or business behind it, if there is one. It prints on the event page above the board the listing came off.

Who and what
Who it is for (required)

This is the one field nobody else in the region carries, and I will not guess it. Family means it is meant for children. All ages means anyone can come.

Price (required)

Accessibility, parking, whether it is cancelled in the rain. Whatever a person standing outside would want to know.

You
Is this your event?

So I can confirm it, and ask if something is unclear. Never published, never sold, never added to a mailing list.

A person reads it within two working days and it goes up. When it does, you get an email with your own edit link, so you can change it or take it down yourself.
