I built this because finding out what is on in the Kootenays takes eleven browser tabs. Every town has a calendar. Every venue has a Facebook page. Every tourism board stops at its own town line. So a simple Friday question takes twenty minutes. This site answers it on one wall: tonight first, then the weekend, then the rest.
Every poster tells you two things other calendars skip: who it is for, and what it costs. A parent can see at a glance whether a seven-year-old can come. Free events say Free. If the source did not say, the poster stays blank.
The wall is in time order. Nothing else moves a poster up or down. How it works has the details.

It works as an app. On a phone, the button at the bottom of the menu adds the Slate to your home screen. Press and hold the icon to jump straight to tonight, the weekend or the family wall.
